Motorcycle trips through the desert, snow skiing and Winter/Summer excursions on Lake Tahoe were all part of the plan for the Gallisa’s. The icing on the cake was the ability to accelerate this plan on the back of a curated exit strategy.
In 2018, The Gallisa’s found themselves as empty nesters, with their son wrapping up college. They no longer needed a Marin school district or their Corte Madera location to run their businesses. So they found a great house outside of California and engaged Foundation Homes to manage it. on the The plan was to rent it then sell as part of a 1031 .
After three years Christopher worked with the Gallisa’s to sell the house to their tenants- enabling them to save a ton of money on prep and staging costs in addition to continue getting rent until the deal closed. The next best part was that the entire sale was transacted while Amaury was on a trip with motorcycle club through Baja California. It was a great way to end it.
